Summer vacations are creeping towards an end, yet Kansas City temperatures are steadily climbing. It’s definitely time for a quick escape with the kiddos! Of course, the logical solution to beat this heat is water. Although we Missourians are landlocked, there are some impressive water spots that will have you feeling like you’ve traveled thousands of miles versus just a few hours drive. Take a family road trip from Kansas City to these Oasis destinations. A few are actually closer than you think. Yes, I know that you probably won’t have time to visit every last one but you should consider packing up your family and exploring at least one before the summer is over.
